The Custodians of Code

Maintaining the Pixel Hall Of Fame requires constant dedication to preserving the legacy of the 1970s–1990s golden era. We actively monitor communications from fellow historians, retro enthusiasts, and journalists. Response times may vary depending on exhibition schedules, but every transmission is received and logged.

Visitor Protocol & Logistics

Answers to the most frequent inquiries from our patrons and arcade historians.

Are the physical archives open to the public?

Currently, our physical collection in London is reserved for private academic research and restoration work. However, our digital Top 15 exhibition is available globally 24/7. We plan to host pop-up gallery events in the near future.

Do you accept game cartridge or cabinet donations?

Yes. The Pixel Hall Of relies on the generosity of the community to preserve history. If you possess rare complete-in-box items from the 1970s to 1990s, or functional arcade boards (JAMMA), please select "Hardware/Software Donation" in the contact form above.

How are the Top 15 classics chosen?

Our primary exhibition relies on a combination of historical impact, mechanical innovation, and enduring legacy. Titles like Street Fighter II and Super Metroid represent structural shifts in gaming. For a deeper breakdown of these eras, visit our history archives.
